SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Eden Labs, a pioneer in botanical extraction and distillation equipment, announces the launch of its Hi-Flo FX2 CO2 system. The FX2 technology will produce whole plant extract or extract fractions by operator set temperature, pressure, and run time. The fractions can be collected while the system is running, eliminating downtime and improving operational efficiency. for collection of the compounds that are important for operational efficiency.
Due to the FX2’s newly engineered Supercritical Fluid Extraction (SFE) technology, extraction times run as low as 3 hours per E-Vessel. Changes in the separators and condensers and maximized pumping mechanism system allow the machine to run 0.5 LPM to 4 LPM, making the FX2 the fastest and most effective system on the market. All systems come standard with a separator collection vessel to help prevent terpene vaporization and reduce downtime time needed for collection.
The FX2 process control system is offered as a manual control system package or a semi-automated control system package. The process control system options are offered to protect the system from operator error, decrease training time, and provide data collection. The system control panel (or Human Machine Interface) provides a digital display of system operating parameters, system status, and system alarms. The sophisticated yet intuitive process control system software enables extraction parameter programing, with a wide range of sub- and supercritical CO2 setting selections, and environmental monitoring. Run parameter, system status, and sensor data is logged and stored by the control system for R&D, pilot program rich data analysis, and industrial output evaluation.
